- WWE shipped 273,000 DVDs in the month of January, which is down 24% from the same period a year ago, reports Dave Meltzer. Sales are expected to pick up with the releases of the new Steve Austin and Triple DVD sets.

- Developmental talent Afa Anoai Jr. was suspended for 30 days for violating WWE's Wellness Policy.

- Steve Austin did an interview with The Sun in the U.K. “He’s just a bitter, insecure guy," says Austin in the interview regarding Hulk Hogan. When asked about one more match, Austin said, "I take that never say never approach to having a last match."

- The 3/8 Smackdown house show drew 2,600 fans in Oshkosh. The 3/9 Smackdown show drew 3,000 fans in Dubuque.

- The Sports Legacy Institute has added Rob Van Dam and Booker T (as Booker Huffman) to its advisory board. The Sports Legacy Institute has been spear headed by former WWE superstar Chris Nowinski.

- Joe Price, the 37 year old NWA promoter in Florida, passed away on 3/7. He had been battling cancer for years.

- David Bollea (Horace Hogan), the nephew of Hulk Hogan, won his 3/2 MMA debut over Jesse Lawrence in St. Petersburg, PA. Bollea won in the second round with an armbar.
