- Former wrestling manager and booker Gary Hart passed away at the age of 66 yesterday at his home in Euless, TX, after returning from an autograph session which occurred just hours before. Hart was the booker of World Class Championship Wrestling from the late 70's till the late 80's and is one of the few people who are credited with the tremendous success the company enjoyed during those years. Hart was also involved in managing some of today's wrestling legends including Rowdy Roddy Piper, Chris Adams, Great Kabuki, Larry Zbyszko, Dusty Rhodes and others. Hart retired from professional wrestling in 1999 and then made a surprise return in Major League Wrestling, which was headed by his nephew and former WWE creative writer Court Bauer.

- Chris Jericho has signed a deal for his second book with Grand Central Publishing. The second book has a working title of "Undisputed Attitude," which will focus on his WWE career from 1999 to his 2005 departure. The book will also deal with the deaths of Y2J's mother, and several of his friends including Eddy Guerrero and Chris Benoit.

- It is believed backstage interviewer Mike Adamle is being paid $300,000 per year to work Raw and PPVs.

- It is believed lightweight Takanori Gomi is being paid around $190,000 per fight by the World Victory Road's Sengoku promotion.
