- Rey Mysterio underwent successful surgery in his hometown of San Diego, CA., to repair his torn right bicep. The injury happened during the Smackdown!/ECW live event in Santiago, Chile a few weeks ago. The surgery took around an hour according to WWE.COM and it was performed by Dr David Chao of the Oasis Sports Medical Group. Mysterio's injury was pretty bad according to the surgeon as it was a complete rupture of the tendon. Dr. Chao estimates that he will be out from six to nine months. Mysterio was supposed to be in a tag team match with Floyd Mayweather against Big Show and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania but the injury forced a switch to just a Mayweather/Big Show match.

- WWE Chairman Vince McMahon issued a statement regarding the comments made at yesterday's Congressional Hearing in Washington, DC. Members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce said that WWE were uncooperative and that McMahon 'flipped the finger' at the Committee by not accepting their invitation to testify yesterday. However the Chairman said that the statements by the Members are inaccurate and unfair as the company has provided over 3,000 pages of documents and cooperated with all requests from the Committee. McMahon said that the invitation was sent on January 23rd of this year and in the letter it was stated that he can be accompanied by a legal advisor. McMahon replied by saying that the company's leading attorney Jerry McDevitt was unavailable as he was representing another client on trial and declined the invitation a month ago. No response was received from the Committee according to McMahon and although WWE and himself got trashed during the hearing, he wrote that he is still willing to cooperate fully with the Committee's inquiry.
