- At the WWE Press Conference for Wrestlemania XXIV, it was announced The Big Show would face boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

- The idea for The Big Show-Floyd Mayweather Jr. match changed several times last week. As previously noted, a tag team match was the original idea, but today's Wrestlemania press conference implied the match will be a one on one encounter.

- Reports suggested that WWE was paying Mayweather $20 million.

- On Raw, WWE announced that "High Chief" Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson would be inducted into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania weekend by The Rock.

- Disco Inferno stated in a recent blog that Chris Jericho's return is one of the top reasons why the WWE's ratings are so low.

- Sabu suffered an injured hip while working for AAA in Mexico and is scheduled to miss some ring time.
