- A new set has been constructed by WWE for their HD launch and the same set up will be used for all three shows - RAW, Smackdown! and ECW. According to WWE set engineer Jason Robinson, the set will mostly consist of HD screens. "The set itself is all video, so we can change it to be anything we want it to be," he said. "When The Undertaker comes out, it will be gravestones and lightning bolts. When Kane comes out, it will be all fire and flame. It's a complete freedom of palette to create anything we want for the Superstars." There will be more than 1.2 million LEDs on display that will give fans watching the show on HD an amazing viewing experience. The set can be enlarged or shrink in size depending on the size of the arena however he noted that for WrestleMania 24, a special set is being constructed. The RAW set we're used to see on television is being retired after almost nine years.
