- Bryon "Dewey" Robertson, 68, better known to wrestling fans as The Missing Link has lost his battle with cancer. Roberston died at 3:30AM Thursday morning at Hamilton's Henderson Hospital.

- The Great American Bash PPV in San Jose on 7/22 finished up with 13,034 in attendance, with 11,398 paid and a $761,410 live gate. The next night in Sacramento, Raw drew 8,317 paid for a $332,000 gate.

- Updated PPV buy numbers: Judgment Day did 242,000 buys, One Night Stand did 186,000 buys, Vengeance did 243,000 buys, and the early projects have the Great American Bash, featuring Bobby Lashley vs. John Cena, doing 230,000 PPV buys.

- The other WWE employee that received text messages from Chris Benoit was not Wiliam Regal as widely reported, but rather ECW referee Scott Armstrong.

- WWE did a nearly a $5.4 million gate at Wrestlemania 23 in Detroit. The company also pulled in $1.6 million in merchandise sales at Ford Field.

- WWE has shipped out 312,000 copies of Wrestlemania 23, which is on par with the record set by the Wrestlemania 22 DVD.

- According to Chris Benoit's father, none of his son's internal organs were in shape were they could have been donated.

- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, King Booker was set to quit WWE had he been drafted to the ECW brand. Despite previous reports, Booker welcomed the move to Raw.

- Recent WWE attendance figures: The 8/3 Raw show in Huntington, WV drew 4,500 fans. The 8/4 Raw show in Wheeling, WV drew 5,000 fans for a $160,000 live gate. The 8/4 Smackdown show in Manchester, NH drew 4,000 fans and a $140,000 live gate. The 8/5 Smackdown show in Burlington, VT drew 2,000 fans.
