- Armando Garcia, the commissioner of the California State Athletic Commission, in an interview with the Fight Network, stated that the commission sent a letter to World Wrestling Entertainment offering to provide free drug testing for WWE events in the state.

- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Arizona Attorney General's Office Civil Rights Division has accepted the case of "Superstar" Billy Graham (Wayne Coleman) against the Phoenix Art Museum. During a recent visit to the museum, Graham wasn't allowed to enter the premises in his wheelchair and the museum wanted him to use a different wheelchair. Graham was suing based on discrimination against him over a physical disability.

- The 7/5 edition of Impact scored a 1.07 cable rating.

- Game Informer magazine listed the TNA video game for a Spring 2008 release on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and the Wii.

- UFC 73 drew 13,183 (8,622 paid) at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA. Tito Ortiz earned $210,000 to fight Rashad Evans.
