Biography

- During the summer of 2006, Runnels signed a WWE developmental deal, and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling.
- On December 15, 2006, Runnels and Shawn Spears defeated the Untouchables in Louisville, KY to capture the OVW Southern Tag Team titles.
- Runnels defeated Paul Burchill on February 17, 2007 in Elizabethtown, KY to capture the OVW title.
- On July 6, 2007, Runnels defeated Spears to capture the OVW TV title.
- On December 10, 2007 in Bridgeport, CT, Rhodes and Hardcore Holly defeated Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade for the World Tag Team titles on "Raw."
- At Night of Champions '08 in Dallas, TX, Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. defeated Hardcore Holly (Rhodes turned on Holly during the match) to capture the World Tag Team titles.
- One week after dropping the World Tag Team titles to John Cena and Batista, Rhodes and DiBiase Jr. regained them on the August 11, 2008 edition of "Raw" in Richmond, VA.
