- In June 2002, Altar Boy Luke and Altar Boy Matthew formed the tag team simply called the Altar Boys.
- On October 5, 2002 at XPW Fallout, Luke pinned Supreme to win the XPW King of the Death Match Title.
- On the May 3, 2003 NWA Wildside show, Holy Smokes (Luke and Smokey Charmichael) defeated Johnny Handsome (formerly XPW's GQ Money) and Joey Idol (formerly XPW's "Rock Superstar" Kaos).
- Altar Boy Luke made his TNA PPV debut on July 9, 2003, by participating in a six-man X Division Elimination Match.
- On the July 19, 2003 NWA Wildside show, Luke won a four corners elimination match over Matt Sydal, Salvatore Rinauro, and Ray Gordy.
