The WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Kickoff Show kicks off from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas, where Renee Young, Booker T, Daniel Bryan, and Peter Rosenberg welcome us to the show. Rosenberg and Bryan talk about how excited they are about the show, and then we join Tom Phillips in the Social Media Lounge. He says he guest later tonight will be Alexa Bliss. He tosses it back to Renee and we see that we will have a 10-Man Tag on the kickoff show: Apollo Crews, American Alpha, and The Hype Bros vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension, and The Vaudevillains.
The panel begin talking about and breaking down the match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship with the Champions, Heath Slater and Rhyno, defending against Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. Bryan says Slater and Rhyno have been teaming for months and that is what will get it done for them tonight. Rosenberg says he can’t see that happening and Wyatt and Orton will be too much for Slater and Rhyno. Rosenberg says the pairing of Wyatt and Orton has everyone excited. Bryan officially picks Slater and Rhyno, Rosenberg and Booker pick Wyatt and Orton. Renee says they will talk about the feud between Nikki Bella and Carmella after the break.
We’re back and Renee says one of the factors in the Nikki Bella/Carmella feud is the health of Nikki. Bryan says the concern is Nikki’s next, but Nikki went out there on Smackdown and gave Carmella a black eye. Renee says that annoyed Carmella and asks if it will give Carmella the edge tonight. Booker says Carmella is trying to mount that “big bass” on her wall. Booker says Carmella has to prove that she is 100% ready for the moment. Rosenberg shows off his Nikki Bella socks and Booker says, “I thought your name was Peter, not Mark?” Bryan says it will be a great match and then Booker picks Carmella to win and Rosenberg and Bryan pick Nikki. We then see a video hyping up the Intercontinental Championship and the feud between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.
Renee asks Bryan if he thinks tonight’s Ladder Match could be the Match of the Night. Bryan says absolutely and even though he has beef with The Miz, Miz has elevated the Intercontinental title and he and Ziggler will steal the show. Booker says Ziggler is the ultimate talent on the roster and The Miz has stepped his game up to another level. Booker says the x-factor is Maryse. Rosenberg says everyone thought that we were going to get a great run from Ziggler, but it was cut short by The Miz again. Booker picks The Miz, Rosenberg and Bryan pick Ziggler and Bryan leaves the panel. We see that we will take a look at the feud between Kalisto and Baron Corbin after the break.
WWE sends thanks to Adelita’s Way for their song “Ready for War (Pray for Peace)” being the theme song for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. We then see the video hype package for the feud between Baron Corbin and Kalisto. Booker says he thinks back to The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Razor Ramon when no one thought the Kid would win, but he got it done. Booker says all Kalisto needs to do is get his hands on a chair and go to work on Corbin with it. Rosenberg says The 1-2-3 Kid didn’t have chairs, and the chairs give an advantage to Kalisto. Rosenberg says, on the other hand, things could go very wrong for Kalisto. Renee asks who will have a bigger impact in WWE. Booker says Corbin and Rosenberg says it’ll be Kalisto if he can get the win tonight. Renee informs us we will look at the feud between Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss after the break.
We’re back and we see the video hype package for the feud between Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss. Natalya has joined the panel and Renee brings up that Natalya was in the first Women’s Tables Match in WWE and Natalya says that match changed her career and whoever wins tonight will be on a whole new level in the Women’s Division. Natalya says Smackdown Live has competition and competition brings the best out in everyone. Booker asks Natalya if she should be the number one contender no matter who wins tonight. Natalya says she is tired of Becky’s whining and picks Alexa to win, but then insults Alexa as well. Rosenberg brings up Sasha Banks winning Raw’s Women’s Championship and Natalya says Smackdown is the place for the women to be. Rosenberg picks Becky to win, while Booker picks Alexa. We go back to the Social Media Lounge and join Tom Phillips and Alexa Bliss. Alexa insults Renee and the first questions asks her who her inspiration is. Alexa says that Trish Stratus and Rey Mysterio were her idols growing up. Phillips asks if Trish would be happy with the way Alexa handles herself on Smackdown and she says Trish should be. The next question asks if Alexa has any doubts since she lost the first match against Becky, and Alexa says no because she shouldn’t have lost because her foot was on the rope. The last question asks why she would be a better champion than Becky and she answers it’s because she is what the New Era is supposed to be. Alexa gets up and walks away and we see that the 10-Man Tag Team Match will happen after the break.
10-Man Tag Team Match: Apollo Crews, American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan), and The Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder) vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), and The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
Crews and Hawkins start the match for their teams. Hawkins applies a headlock, but Crews sends Hawkins off the ropes and delivers a standing dropkick. Crews goes for the cover, but Hawkins kicks out at two. Ryder tags in and he and Hawkins stare each other down and then Hawkins tags in Viktor. Viktor takes Ryder to the corner and delivers a big chop. Viktor charges, but Ryder counters with double knees to the face. Viktor gets control back and takes Ryder down to the mat. Viktor goes for the cover, but Ryder kicks out at two and tags in Rawley. Rawley powers Viktor down to the mat and drops a double fist onto Viktor’s face. Viktor rolls away and tags in Konnor. Konnor backs Rawley into the corner and tags in English. English wrenches Rawley’s arm, but Rawley comes back with a big right hand that sends English to the mat. Rawley takes English to the corner and Jordan tags in. Jordan takes English down and tags in Gable. Gable and Jordan take Engish down with a double hip-toss and then a double dropkick to Gotch. Everything breaks down and everyone throws everyone out of the ring until only Crews is left standing. Everyone gets back into the ring and brawls before the faces send the heels out to the floor as we head to a break.
We’re back and Hawkins and Gable are the legal men. Hawkins suplexes Gable down to the mat and goes for the cover, but Gable kicks out at two. Hawkins applies a chin-lock, but Gable fights out of it. Hawkins comes back and trip up Gable with a drop-toe hold and tags in Viktor. Viktor tomps away on Gable and drops a fist on him. Viktor goes for the cover, but Gable kicks out at two. Konnor tags in and he and Viktor slam Gable down to the mat. Konnor goes for the cover, but Gable kicks out at two. Konnor applies a grounded chin-lock, but Gable fights out. Gable goes for a sunset flip, but Viktor makes the tag and kicks Gable in the back. Viktor delivers right hands to Gable and tags in English. English decks Gable with a right hand and tags in Gotch. Gotch drops Gable with a right hand and goes or the cover, but Gable kicks out at two. Viktor tags back in and kicks Gable in the midsection. Viktor goes for the cover, but Gable kicks out at two. Viktor applies a headlock down on the mat. Gable reaches for a tag, but Viktor stomps him and the heels pull the faces down to the floor. Viktor delivers a superkick to Gable and goes for the cover, but Jordan breaks up the pin attempt. English applies a front face-lock down on the mat. Gable tries to get free, but English catapults him into the corner. Gable takes everyone down and then tags in Jordan. Jordan takes everyone down with suplexes and then tosses English across the ring. Jordan takes Konnor down with an Olympic Slam and goes for the cover, but it it broken up. Alpha take the Ascension down with clotheslines and Crews suplexes Hawkins to the floor. Alpha hits Grand Amplitude on Gotch and Gables gets the pin fall.
Winners: American Alpha, Apollo Crews, and The Hype Bros.
We go back to the panel and Rosenberg brags about wearing an American Alpha shirt, and then Renee informs us that John Cena will be hosting Saturday Night Live this coming Saturday Night. Renee then says the panel will break down the feud between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose after the break.
We’re back and Booker says the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match is his Shucky Ducky Quack Quack Moment of the Night. Booker says Styles is the Champ that Runs the Camp and will prove that tonight. Rosenberg says AJ Styles is the best wrestler in the world, but Ambrose is in his head. Booker says tonight is put up or shut up time and he and Rosenberg both pick Styles. We then take a look at the video hype package for the feud between Styles and Ambrose as the kickoff show comes to a close.
We see the opening video for WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2016, which focuses on the feuds and matches for tonight’s show. We then head live into the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas, where Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, Tom Phillips, and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome us to the show.
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match: Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) vs. Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton (w/Luke Harper)
Rhyno and Wyatt start the match for their teams and Wyatt gains control early. Wyatt takes Rhyno to the corner and tags in Orton. Orton takes control of Rhyno and takes him down to the mat, but Rhyno gets to the corner and tags in Slater. Orton takes control of Slater and slams him down to the mat and then drapes him over the top rope. Orton stomps away on Slater and then tags in Wyatt, who delivers a series of forearm shots to Slater’s neck. Wyatt goes for the cover, but Slater kicks out at two. Slater tries to get to Rhyno, but Wyatt cuts him off and sends him to the corner. Wyatt clotheslines Slater in the corner and then tosses him out to the floor. Orton tags in and power slams Slater down to the mat. Orton goes for the cover, but Slater kicks out at two. Wyatt tags back in and applies a headlock. Slater gets free and kicks Orton down to the floor and then tags in Rhyno. Rhyno takes control of the match and delivers an uppercut to Wyatt. Rhyno delivers a shoulder tackle from the middle rope and charges at Wyatt in the corner, but Orton pushes Wyatt out of the way and Rhyno knocks Orton to the floor. Rhyno goes for a Gore on Orton, but Harper pushes Orton out of the way and takes the Gore. Orton makes the tag as Rhyno goes for a Gore on Wyatt, but Orton counters with an RKO and gets the pin fall.
Winners and new WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt.
After the match, Wyatt places his tag title on Harper’s shoulder and then Orton does the same thing. Wyatt kneels down with Orton and Harper standing behind him as they all pose with the title belts.
We see a preview for the WWE Network, previewing various shows that are available on the platform.
We go backstage and Dean Ambrose is standing by for an interview. Ambrose says James Ellsworth is fine and is keeping his chin and spirits up. Ambrose says he is at home watching and letting the grown ups do grown up things tonight. He says his temper is his gameplan tonight and when he gets pissed off he likes to roll with it. He says it might be an honor to be in the ring with AJ Styles, but Styles likes to take the low road and easy way out of matches. Ambrose says there is no easy way to go through a table or to get hit with a chair, or to climb a ladder. He says there is something about him that likes to make his life as hard as possible and there is only one way to win the TLC Match and that is through horrible pain and suffering and Styles is in for some hard time. We then see Styles backstage with Renee Young. Styles says he has been in these types of matches before. He says the problem isn’t knocking Ambrose down, it’s keeping him there. He says Ambrose will get back up tonight just in time to see Styles on top of the ladder holding his WWE World Championship.
No Disqualification Match: Nikki Bella vs. Carmella
Carmella and Nikki go to the floor and Carmella shoves Nikki to the floor and then deliver a forearm to Nikki’s neck. They roll back into the ring and then to the other side. Carmella takes Nikki down with a head-scissors into the steel stairs. Carmella rolls back into the ring and waits on Nikki and then goes to work on Nikki’s leg when Nikki gets into the ring. Carmella goes for a quick cover, but Nikki kicks out at one. Carmella suplexes Nikki into the ropes and goes for the cover again, but Nikki kicks out at two this time. Carmella goes to work again on Nikki’s leg, but Nikki counters with a roll-up and Carmella kicks out at two. Carmella slams Nikki down to the mat again and goes for the cover, but Nikki kicks out at two. Carmella suplexes Nikki int the ropes again and then hangs her in the tree of woe in the corner. Carmella grabs a Singapore cane from under the ring and then mocks Nikki with John Cena’s “you can’t see me” gesture. Carmella nails Nikki with the Singapore cane, but Nikki counters with a kick to the midsection. Carmella comes right back with more shots from the Singapore cane. Carmella goes for the cover, but Nikki kicks out at two. Carmella locks in the Code of Silence, but Nikki grabs the Singapore cane and hits Carmella with it to break the hold. Nikki takes Carmella to the outside and kicks her into the barricade. Nikki grabs the Singapore cane, but Carmella counters and drives Nikki into the barricade. Nikki comes back and drives Carmella into the ring post. Nikki gets on the barricade and then delivers a kick to Carmella’s face. Nikki rolls Carmella into the ring and grabs the Singapore cane. Nikki nails Carmella with the Singapore cane a few times, but Carmella takes Nikki’s leg from under her. Nikki rolls to the floor and uses a fire extinguisher against Carmella. Nikki grabs Carmella and delivers the Rack Attack 2.0 and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Nikki Bella.
After the match, Carmella tells them to cut the music. Carmella says Nikki thinks she evened the odds after Survivor Series, but she didn’t. Carmella says it was Natalya and Nikki walks away with a look of non-believing on her face.
We see a preview for WWE Supercards and then see a Kay Jewelers commercial where Natalya helps a WWE fan pick out an engagement ring for his girlfriend.
We see a video hype package for the history of the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the feud between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. We go backstage and see Daniel Bryan. He says he’d like to see Dolph Ziggler win tonight because he is a better representative for Smackdown than The Miz. Miz and Maryse walk up and Miz says he wishes it were Bryan in the match so he could shove him off a ladder. Miz says he wishes he could see the look on Bryan’s face when he wins tonight.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: The Miz (c) (w/Maryse) vs. Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler takes Miz to the corner and slams him face-first into the turnbuckle. Miz elbows his way out of the corner and goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ziggler gets free. Miz sends Ziggler to the floor and goes out after him, but Ziggler turns the tide in his favor. Ziggler goes to slam Miz into a ladder on the entrance ramp, but Miz gets free and delivers a big boot to Ziggler. Miz grabs a ladder and hits Ziggler with it, but Ziggler comes back and slams Miz into another ladder. Ziggler grabs a ladder and goes back toward the ring, but Miz takes him down from behind. Miz slams a ladder into Ziggler’s midsection and then tries again, but Ziggler moves and Miz hits the steps. Ziggler drops Miz with a clothesline. Ziggler rakes Miz’s face against a ladder down on the floor and then tries to slam Miz’s face in between the ladder, but Miz moves and takes Ziggler into the ladder with a drop-toe hold. Miz grabs a ladder and tries to pull it into the ring, but Ziggler stops him and slingshots the ladder into Miz’s face. Miz comes right back and dropkicks the ladder into Ziggler, sending Ziggler down to the floor. Miz rolls to the floor on the other side of the ring and Ziggler grab a ladder and goes to put it in the ring. Miz cuts him off and and they slam the ladder into each other, but Ziggler pulls the ladder and Miz hits the ring post shoulder first.
Ziggler and Miz battle on the floor again and Ziggler delivers a DDT to Miz onto a ladder and both men are down on the floor. Ziggler gets to his feet and takes a ladder into the ring. Ziggler tries to set the ladder up, but Miz gets into the ring and dropkicks it into Ziggler. Miz grabs the ladder and slams it into Ziggler in the corner. Miz places the ladder in the corner to hold Ziggler in place and then delivers a dropkick into the ladder. Miz gets on top of the ladder and gets Ziggler on the middle rope. Miz goes for a suplex, but Ziggler fights out and Miz goes face-first into the ladder. Ziggler uses the ladder for a springboard elbow drop and delivers it to Miz. Ziggler tosses Miz into the ring post and then sets up another ladder in the ring. Ziggler begins to climb the ladder, but Miz pulls him down to the mat. Ziggler comes right back with a huge clothesline and then sends Miz to the floor. Ziggler gets a hand on the title belt, but Miz gets back into the ring and tips it over. Ziggler’s throat hits the top rope and he is down and out in the ring. Miz slams a ladder into Ziggler in the corner and then mocks Daniel Bryan with “Yes!” chants. Miz dropkicks the ladder into Ziggler a few times, but Ziggler counters on the final attempt and slams the ladder into Miz’s face. Ziggler sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Miz gets to his feet and climbs the other side. Miz and Ziggler exchange punches and Ziggler knocks Miz down with an elbow shot. Ziggler reaches for the title, but Miz slams Ziggler’s knee around the side of the ladder. Miz grabs Ziggler’s leg and wraps it around the ladder and then tips the ladder over. Miz slams the ladder into Ziggler’s leg again and then tries to slam it down on him, but Ziggler rolls out of the way. Miz grabs Ziggler and slams his knee into the ladder. Miz places Ziggler’s other knee inside the ladder and slams it shut on Ziggler’s knee. Miz applies the Figure-Four using the ladder.
Ziggler tries to fight back, but Miz delivers a Skull Crushing Finale into the ladder. Miz grabs a ladder and begins to climb. Miz grabs the title, but Ziggler pushes the ladder out from under him. Miz hangs on to the hanging device holding the title, but Ziggler hits him with the ladder and Miz falls to the mat. Miz rolls to the floor and Ziggler sets the ladder back up in the ring. Ziggler begins to climb, but Miz gets back into the ring and stops him. Miz delivers a slingshot power bomb to Ziggler onto the ladder set up in the corner. Miz begins to climb a ladder, but Ziggler sets up another ladder and climbs that one and they battle on top of the two ladders. They exchange punches and Ziggler gains control. Ziggler delivers a series of headbutts and Miz falls to the mat. Ziggler uses both ladders to climb back to the top and Miz climbs again. Miz delivers two low blows to Ziggler and shoves him down to the floor. Miz climbs to the top and grabs the title and pulls it down.
Winner and still WWE Intercontinental Champion: The Miz.
After the match, Miz grabs a microphone and says he is dedicating his win to the Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan. Miz says Bryan’s hatred of him has motivated him tonight and tells someone to get Dolph Ziggler a Participation Award. Miz calls Ziggler and the crowd a bunch of loses and then leaves with Maryse as Ziggler is down on the floor.
We see the first video hype package for WWE Tribute to the Troops, which will be next week on the USA Network. WWE then sends thanks to Adelita’s Way for tonight’s theme song.
We see the video hype package for the feud between Kalisto and Baron Corbin.
Chairs Match: Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto
Kalisto goes on the attack right away, but Corbin shuts him down. Corbin sets up a chair in the ring and goes for a power bomb, but Kalisto gets free. Kalisto kicks Corbin into the chair and delivers a dropkick. Kalisto springboards from the chair and takes Corbin down on the outside. Kalisto tosses Corbin back into the ring and gets on the apron, but Corbin knocks him back to the floor. Corbin goes out after Kalisto and beats him down against the apron. Corbin uses his shirt and chokes Kalisto with it and slings him between the barricade and the ring apron. Corbin slams Kalisto into a stack of chairs and then tosses him back into the ring. Kalisto tries to come back, but Corbin slams him down to the mat and goes for the cover. Kalisto kicks out at two and Corbin rolls to the floor and tosses more chairs into the ring. Corbin sets up all of the chairs in the ring and charges at Kalisto in the corner. Kalisto gets his boots up, but Corbin ducks under and goes to the floor. Corbin gets back into the ring, but Kalisto delivers a drop-toe hold and sends Corbin into a chair in the corner. Kalisto delivers a hurricanrana to Corbin and sends him face-first into a chair. Kalisto comes off the top rope and delivers a senton through the six chairs that Corbin set up. Kalisto goes for the cover, but Corbin kicks out at two.
Corbin goes to the floor and Kalisto goes for a tope suicida. Corbin catches him and delivers the Deep Six on the floor. Corbin tosses Kalisto back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out at two. Corbin delivers a series of forearm shivers and then sets piles up all the chairs in the middle of the ring. Corbin goes out after Kalisto on the floor and tries to hits Kalisto with a chair, but Kalisto moves every time. Kalisto delivers a few kicks and then takes Corbin down with a hurricanrana from the barricade. Kalisto hits Corbin with a chair and then dropkicks him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Kalisto delivers a leg drop to Corbin and then puts a chair on top of him. Kalisto goes up top and delivers a moonsault/double knee combo to Corbin. Kalisto goes for the cover, but Corbin kicks out at two. Kalisto grabs a chair and nails Corbin with it a few times. Kalisto goes for the Solida del Sol, but Corbin counters. Kalisto goes up top and jumps, but Corbin hits Kalisto in the face with a chair. Corbin delivers the End of Days to Kalisto on the pile of chairs and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Baron Corbin.
We see another preview for WWE Supercards and then go backstage with Natalya. She ignores the questions about her attacking Nikki Bella at Survivor Series and comments on Becky Lynch being the champion and wishes her luck. Natalya says Carmella’s accusations are absurd and calls Carmella a liar.
We see a preview for the Royal Rumble Match in January, which currently only has Goldberg and Brock Lesnar confirmed for the match. We then take a look at the video hype package for the feud between Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss.
WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Tables Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
Becky charges and takes Alexa to the corner immediately, but Alexa comes right back and sends Becky to the floor. Alexa kicks Becky into the barricade, but Becky comes right back and slams Alexa into the opposite barricade. Becky tosses Alexa into the ring and slams her face-first into the mat. Becky rolls to the floor and grabs a table from under the ring. Becky sets the table up on the floor and grabs Alexa. Becky goes for a suplex, but Alexa counters and drapes Becky over the top rope. Alexa tries to knocks Becky through the table, but Becky gets back into the ring. Alexa slams Becky into the turnbuckle and stomps away on her in the corner. Alexa backs away and charges, but Becky counters and sends Alexa to the apron. Alexa bites Becky and slams her down to the mat. Alexa beats down Becky in the ring and then chokes her over the middle rope. Alexa stomps away on Becky and then slams her face-first into the mat. Alexa quick stomps on the back of Becky’s head and then grabs another table from under the ring. Becky comes off the apron, but Becky moves and Alexa sends her into the ring post. Alexa tosses Becky back into the ring and then sets a table up in the ring. Alexa takes Becky to the corner, but Becky counters with a back elbow. Becky delivers a series of right hands, but Alexa counters and slams Becky into the table. Alexa puts Becky on the table and then goes up top for Twisted Bliss.
Becky cuts her off and knocks Alexa down on the ropes. Becky and Alexa exchange right hands and Becky sets up for the Becks-plex. Alexa knocks her down and Becky knocks the table over. Alexa kicks Becky in the face. Becky goes to slam Alexa into the table, but Alexa counters and delivers a clothesline that takes Becky down to the mat. Alexa leans the table in the corner, but Becky delivers a few uppercuts and then drops Alexa with a few clotheslines. Becky kicks Alexa in the midsection and goes for the Becks-plex through the table, but Alexa counters and slams Becky down to the mat. Alexa delivers double knees to Becky and then tries to slam the table down onto Becky, but Becky rolls out of the way. Alexa delivers quick right hands down on the mat and then sets up the table. Becky comes back and lifts Alexa up for a fireman’s carry, but Alexa flips the table over and gets free. Alexa delivers a DDT to Becky onto the underside of the table.
Becky comes back and locks in the Disarm-her using the table legs for extra leverage and then takes Alexa down with a pump-handle slam. Becky places the table in the corner and puts Alexa on top of it. Becky climbs up top, but Alexa kicks her in the face. Alexa pulls Becky down by the hair and slams her down to the mat. Alexa grabs Becky’s hair, but Becky counters and sends Alexa into the table in the corner. Becky goes for a baseball slide dropkick, but Alexa moves out of the way. Becky and Alexa exchange right hands on the apron and then Alexa power bombs Becky through the table on the floor.
Winner and new WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion: Alexa Bliss.
After the match, the interviewer tries to interview Becky, but Becky tells her off and walks away.
We see the continuation of the Kay Jewelers commercial from earlier where Natalya helps the guy propose to his girlfriend in the ring. We then see a preview for 205 Live.
We are reminded again that John Cena will host Saturday Night Live this coming Saturday night. We then see the video hype package for the feud between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose.
WWE World Championship Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose
Ambrose takes Styles to the corner and then drops him with a back elbow. Ambrose delivers a back-body drop and then tosses a chair and a ladder into the ring. Styles uses the chair and smashes the ladder into Ambrose’s hands. Styles grabs the ladder, sets it up, and tries to climb, but Ambrose cuts him off. Ambrose tries to climb, but Styles cuts him off this time. Ambrose tosses Styles toward the ladder, but Styles ducks under. Ambrose slams the ladder into Styles and then clotheslines him over the top rope. Ambrose slams Styles into the ladders, tables, and chairs on the entrance ramp. Ambrose sits on the chair on the stage and waits for Styles to get to his feet. Ambrose tosses Styles to the side of the entrance ramp and then places him on a table. Ambrose climbs a huge ladder, but Styles gets off the table. Ambrose clotheslines Styles from behind. Ambrose puts a trashcan over Styles’ upper body and shoves him to the floor. Ambrose tosses Styles back toward the ring and launches off the barricade, but Styles counters with a dropkick. Styles slams Ambrose into the barricade, but Ambrose comes right back and takes Styles down and out with a chair to the face on the floor. Ambrose gets into the ring and climbs the ladder, but Styles cuts him off and tips over the ladder.
Styles sets the ladder down and then slams Ambrose down onto it. Styles leans the ladder against the ropes, but Ambrose comes back and catapults Styles into it. Styles goes out to the floor and throws the ladder and hits Styles with it. Ambrose grabs a table and goes to set it up in the ring, but Styles nails him in the back with the chair. Styles beats down Ambrose with right hands and then hits him with the chair again. Styles sets the chair up in the ring an then grabs more chairs and tosses them in the ring. Styles kicks Ambrose in the face and sets up the chairs in the ring. Styles goes for a suplex through the four chairs, but Ambrose counters and slams Styles through the chairs. Ambrose props a table up in the corner, but Styles comes back and suplexes Ambrose through the table and both men are down. Styles picks Ambrose up and dropkicks him into the ropes, but Ambrose comes off the ropes and connects with the Lunatic Lariat and takes Styles down. Ambrose kicks some of the broken weapons to the floor and then goes up top with Styles. Styles shoves Ambrose away and Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Styles counters and shoves Ambrose away. Styles charges, but Ambrose sends him out to the floor and follows him. Ambrose takes apart the announce table and puts Styles on top of it. Ambrose sets a ladder up on the other announce table and then slams Styles into the ring apron. Ambrose delivers a series of right hands and headbutts to keep Styles grounded on the table. Ambrose climbs the ladder on the announce table and delivers the elbow drop through the other announce table.
Ambrose sets up a ladder in the ring and begins to climb, but Styles gets on the apron and delivers the Phenomenal Forearm to knock Ambrose off the ladder.
Both men begin climbing the ladder and both reach for the belt and then start exchanging right hands. They both fall to the mat and then Ambrose airplane spins Styles into the ladder.
Ambrose begins climbing the ladder again, but Styles cuts him off. Styles goes for a power bomb, but Ambrose counters and takes Styles out to the floor. Styles goes for a moonsault from the apron, but Ambrose catches him. Styles counters Ambrose and plants him with a reverse DDT on the floor. Styles sets up a table on the floor and puts Ambrose onto it. Styles delivers a few right hands and then connects with a springboard 450 Splash that puts Ambrose and himself through the table. Styles sets up a ladder in the ring and begins to climb, but James Ellsworth comes from the back. Styles shoves the ladder out of the way and goes after him. Styles takes apart the steel steps and looks to be going for a Styles Clash on Ellsworth, but Ambrose attacks Styles and tosses him into the barricade. Ambrose sets up the ladder in the ring and begins to climb, but Styles cuts him off. Styles begins to climb the other side and Ambrose punches Styles down and Styles rolls to the floor. Ellsworth gets into the ring and shoves the ladder over and Ambrose crashes through the tables on the outside. Styles gets back into the ring and sets the ladder up as Ellsworth cheers him on the outside. Styles grabs the title and pulls it down.
Winner and still WWE World Champion: AJ Styles.
After the match, we see Ellsworth celebrating Styles’ win and then see Ambrose still lying in the pile of tables. Styles stands atop the ladder and holds the WWE World Championship above his head as TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs comes to a close.
