– In September 2007, Mendez debuted on the Northeastern indy circuit
– In late 2007, Mendez began competing for WSU as ‘Miss April’
– On February 7, 2009, The AC Express (Miss April & Brooke Carter) defeated The Beatdown Betties (Roxie Cotton & Annie Social) to win the WSU Tag Team Titles
– On March 7, 2009, The AC Express defeated The Beatdown Betties (Rick Cataldo & Roxie Cotton) to retain the WSU Tag Team Titles
– On April 11, 2009, April & Jay Lethal defeated Damien Demento & Jana to win the WSU King & Queen of the Ring Tournament
