– Marasciulo trained under Mikey Whipwreck at the New York Wrestling Connection Academy
– He debuted under a mask as ‘Plazma’, losing to Dan Barry in his first professional match
– On January 28, 2006, Plazma defeated Matt Maverick to win the vacant NYWC Hi-Fi Title
– On February 25, Plazma defeated Maverick to retain the NYWC Hi-Fi Title
– On May 20, Plazma defeated Mike Spinelli to regain the NYWC Hi-Fi Title, but would lose it almost immediately to Jerry Lynn
– On September 23, Plazma defeated Lynn to win the NYWC Hi-Fi Title for a third time
– On October 28, Plazma fought Maverick to a no-contest to retain the NYWC Hi-Fi Title
